Nikwax Sandal Wash is the antitode to smelly climbing boots

I was recently chatting to Richard at Nikwax who was telling me that they are starting to advertise Sandal Wash as the ideal product to clean Rock climbing boots with.

Mine stink when I have been wearing them for a while without socks and I never clean them I just ram them back into the bottom of the bag for next time and then they are worse then when I left them.  Sandal wash is cheap and easy to use with a sponge "dabber" to apply it with and we currently have it on a special offer.

New Merrell and Ksb Sandals Now In

We have just had another big delivery of sandals into stock. This is the time of year to kick off your walking boots and get some air to your feet.

The technology of walking sandals has changed a lot since Ghandi kicked on his flip flops. The Merrell Chameleon sandals for instance have a lot of the features in the soles as a pair of approach shoes. The soles on many of the Merrell Chameleons are Vibram which is the same rubber as on the approach shoes and walking boots. This gives good traction and grip and the EVA mid soles offer good shock absorbancy for when you walk long distances. The Merrell Chameleon Convertible Sandal also has a removable strap at the back so they turn into a slip on sandal.

Most of the walking sandals have a anti-microbial footbed as well to stop them getting smelly. If they do start to get a bit whiffy, don't worry, we sell product from Nikwax called Nikwax Sandal Wash which does exactly what is says on the bottle.
